The ability to receive criticism requires a measure of humility.

Without humility it’ll be easy to get offended or defensive when being critiqued.

Not everyone knows how to criticize with love, or in a way that makes the information acceptable to us. This however does not invalidate the relevance of the message. So it’s important to disregard the messenger sometimes, but receive the message with a heart willing to improve on oneself.

In other words, focus on the message, not the messenger. This will give an opportunity to improve on your flaws and make you wise.

Lord please make me humble at all times🙏
